Core-Tex™
"The Evolution in Revolution"

Currently being used in the U.S. Olympic Training Center (Chula Vista, CA), by the U.S. Olympic Ski Team (Colorado Springs), San Diego Chargers Training Facility, The San Diego Padres, The Gray Institute, and endorsed by leaders in the fitness and rehabilitation field, the patented design of the Core-Tex™ is set to revolutionize the industry!

The Core-Tex™ is the only device on the market that allows for movement in all three planes of motion AND whose base translates at the same time. All other devices either work in all three planes on a fixed axis with no translation OR translate in only one plane (typically the frontal plane). The patented design of the Core-Tex™ allows the base to move like no other training environment. This allows for an almost infinite number of combination movements while working on the Core-Tex™.

The Core-Tex™ encourages movement and change of direction to maximize the integration of the body’s receptors from the foot and ankle all the way up to neck, eyes and inner ears. This causes the body to react and respond just as is required with real world activities and sports. All other balance devices on the market strive for improved static stabilization.

The applications of the Core-Tex™ are exciting and the benefits exponential over other devices. Anything that you can do on another form of balance equipment, you can do on the Core-Tex™ with superior results.

Platform

With a 30" diameter on the flat platform of the Core-Tex™, you can do many things on the Core-Tex™ that you can not do on other pieces of equipment. The unique design of the Core-Tex™ allows for the dish to move along 3 ball transfers, ensuring continues contact with the sources of motion. A central descending dowel prevents the dish from leaving the underlying base. This descending dowel has a bumper that can be replaced with a larger diameter bumper to reduce the overall translation of the Core-Tex™ for the less experienced user.

Safety Handrail

The Core-Tex™ is also available with an integrated    handrail.  The handrail is designed to fit precisely under  the base so that the user's body weight anchors the handrail while the user is standing on the Core-Tex™.

The handrail is adjustable to three positions to  accommodate users of different heights.

The handrail is easily attached and removed by simply  lifting the base and placing it over the lower portion of the  handrail so that it fits exactly over the pre set recesses

Research

The Core-Tex™ is pending study through the biomechanics department of San DiegoStateUniversity and BelmontUniversity. The research at SDSU is being overseen by Dan Cipriani PhD, P.T. Doctor Cipriani has extensive experience in biomechanical and orthopedic research and is one of the leading researches on scientific validity of commercially available pieces of equipment. The research at BelmontUniversity is being overseen by Mike Voight PhD, P.T. Doctor Voight has done extensive research in neuromuscular training and is one of the lead lecturers for the Titleist Performance Institute.
